JAMESTOWN – A city may remains in the Chautauqua County Jail since his arrest Saturday as a lead suspect in an alleged cocaine trafficking in the Jamestown area, authorities announced Tuesday.
Chauncey J. Robinson, 26, of East Second Street, was stopped in a motor vehicle on North Main Street near the city line about 9:15 p.m. Saturday. More than two ounces of cocaine, with a street value of more than $8,000 was found on him, according to city police and state troopers, who conducted a joint investigation.
Robinson was remanded to the county jail after he was arraigned in City Court on a charged of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
