NIAGARA ON THE LAKE, Ont. – The driver suspected of killing a male cyclist on Raylor near Homer roads about 4:15 p.m. Monday was arrested last night after an intense search by the Niagara Regional Police Service.

The bicyclist, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, police stopped a 1998 GMC Jimmy with damage in Niagara Falls and charged Ryan Logan, 25, of Niagara Falls, with failing to stop causing death. Authorities had been looking for a vehicle described by some witnesses as a light-colored GMC sport utility vehicle, possibly a Jimmy, that had sustained damage.
