A man who was struck and killed last week on Broadway has been identified by his family, Buffalo police said Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Peter Buliga, 66, of Mills Street.
Buliga was killed shortly before 7:30 p.m. Thursday when as he tried to cross the street at Broadway and Woltz Avenue.
With no clue to his identity, Buffalo police had released a sketch and provided a basic physical description of the pedestrian. Accident Investigator Martin Forero fielded a number of tips once the sketch was released to the media and was able to track down relatives who confirmed his identity.
