It felt like summer Thursday as the mercury hit 79 – smashing the record set back in 1963, said National Weather Service meteorologist Bill Hibbert.
The delightful weather continues Friday, although it won’t be quite as warm. The high should be about 70. But then, we’re going to get hit with cool, soggy weather as the highs plummet over the weekend to 40s.
There’s also the possibility for the “s” word. Yes snow, probably along the lines of a wintry mix of rain and snow. “Not to stick or anything and not even to make a coating,” Hibbert said.
