Two Whitesville brothers stopped Wednesday night because of faulty headlights on their car found themselves in more trouble after officers discovered a methamphetamine lab in their Forsythe Road home, state and local police said Thursday.
Zackery D. Billings, 23, and Timothy Billings, 22, were arrested during a traffic stop at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, troopers said. The older brother was charged on drug possession counts and operating a motor vehicle with inadequate headlights. His brother also was charged with drug possession counts.
The drug charges came after a search warrant was obtained for the brothers’ residence and an active meth lab was discovered, said Wellsville Police Chief Timothy Walsh and State Police Zone Commander Eugene Stanizewski, who added that several guns were seized.
An investigation into the case continues.
