LOCKPORT – Christopher J. Ross, 32, of Wheatfield Street, North Tonawanda, pleaded guilty Thursday to a felony count of driving while intoxicated.
State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. promised to give Ross nothing worse than a year in the Niagara County Jail when he imposes sentence Jan. 4.
Ross’ blood alcohol content was measured at 0.24 percent – three times the legal limit – after North Tonawanda police pulled him over April 28. Ross had previous DWI convictions in North Tonawanda City Court in 2005 and 2007.
