CLARENDON – An East Pembroke man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester for treatment of injuries he suffered when his SUV overturned after failing to negotiate a curve in the 4600 block of Holley-Byron Road at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Orleans County sheriff’s deputies reported.

Anthony M. Nati was alone in his vehicle when it overturned as he was northbound on Holley-Byron Road (Route 237) and skidded several feet on its roof before coming to rest upside down, deputies reported.

Nati was pinned in the vehicle for about 25 minutes before Clarendon firefighters managed to extricate him and take him by ambulance to Strong to be treated for what deputies said were non life-threatening injuries.
