Songolo Kilozo, a 31-year-old West Side resident, has been identified as the person struck and killed by a train Wednesday night, according to Buffalo police.

Homicide detectives were called to the fatal incident involving a man walking along the tracks near Gull Street and West Ferry Avenue about 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Kilozo was declared dead the scene.

Homicide detectives indicated foul play is not suspected.
