The five members of Western New York’s State Senate delegation are promising further support for the improvements planned at the Peace Bridge, the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority announced Monday.
State Sens. George D. Maziarz, R-Newfane; Michael H. Ranzenhofer, R-Amherst; Timothy M. Kennedy, D-Buffalo; Mark J. Grisanti, R-Buffalo; and Patrick M. Gallivan, R-Elma, cited the prospects of increased cross-border commerce, construction jobs and cleaner air resulting from better traffic patterns.
“With progress on the horizon at the Peace Bridge, it is extremely important that our elected leaders advocate for the realization of these important renovation projects,” Peace Bridge Authority Chairman Sam Hoyt said.
