LOCKPORT – A Buffalo man admitted in Niagara County Court Tuesday that he sold cocaine to a police informant in North Tonawanda March 7.
Jayquan A. Rivera, 21, of Interpark Avenue, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and was scheduled for sentencing Jan. 29 by County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas.
In another drug case Tuesday, Rhonda G. Coulson, 27, of Walnut Street, Lockport, was allowed to withdraw her 2010 guilty plea to a felony and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor as a reward for successful completion of the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment after 2½ years.
County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III is to sentence her for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Nov. 27. Coulson sold hydrocodone pills twice in Lockport in 2009.
