A Buffalo woman is under treatment at Buffalo General Hospital after the violent miscarriage she suffered at the hands of an Earl Street man, Buffalo police reported Tuesday.
Jaquan T. Williams, 19, was charged with first-degree abortion after the alleged early evening assault on the pregnant woman near his home several days ago, police said.
Williams is accused of causing the woman to suffer what police described a spontaneous miscarriage by allegedly repeatedly kneeing and punching her in the stomach during an argument, police said. Williams also was charged with third-degree assault, harassment and child endangerment. He allegedly beat the pregnant woman while she was holding her 1-year-old son and then stole her cellphone.
The woman’s condition was unavailable Tuesday night.
