Peter A. Schultz, a retired East Aurora pharmacist, died unexpectedly Wednesday while vacationing. He was 77.
Mr. Schultz was born in Buffalo and attended the University of Buffalo, where he earned a degree in pharmacy. He moved to East Aurora, where he launched a career as a business owner and pharmacist for 50 years at the independently owned Larwood Pharmacy. Mr. Schultz believed customer service was the cornerstone of his success.
Mr. Schultz was a veteran of the National Guard and a member of the Kiwanis Club and East Aurora Chamber of Commerce. He was an avid skier and enjoyed restoring sports cars and trapshooting. In retirement, he enjoyed traveling and cooking.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, the former Barbara Arnholt; a son, Peter; a daughter, Caroline Morrell; and three stepchildren, Tracy Ess, Kristin Keller and Amy Ess.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. today in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6441 Seneca St., Springbrook.
