LOCKPORT – A man with a history of drunken driving faces felony charges after being stopped on South Transit Road Sunday by Niagara County sheriff’s deputies.
Robert Bradley, no age given, of Buffalo, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle, felony driving while intoxicated, and speeding.
Bradley was stopped for driving 58 mph in a 45-mph zone in the 6100 block of South Transit Road and also was observed swerving in between lanes just before 3 a.m. Sunday. Deputies said he appeared to be intoxicated and was found with two partially filled cans of beer in the cup holders in the front seat.
Bradley told deputies he was driving from a friend’s house in Lockport to his home in Buffalo. He also advised deputies that he had a previous DWI conviction on May 13, 2011 in the Town of Tonawanda. A check also showed that Bradley has a suspended conditional driver’s license.
