NIAGARA FALLS – Offering everything from holistic tips to wine and food pairing advice, Mount St. Mary’s Hospital’s “Conference on Healthcare for Women” slated for Nov. 3 at the Conference Center of Niagara Falls promises to help raise awareness on improving health.
This is the fifth year the hospital has sponsored this day-long conference, which includes speakers, a luncheon and health information displays and demonstrations.
Registration and a healthy continental breakfast open the event at 8 a.m., followed by remarks from Mount St. Mary’s President and CEO Judith Maness at 9.
Mary Jo Hunt, director of career development for Hunt Real Estate, is the keynote speaker, with Tammie Lee Demler acting as emcee.
At 10:15 a.m., participants will visit a series of displays and demonstrations. They include: yoga/meditation and Zumba; hairstyling; foot checks; child are safety seats; RD Woodykins Creations; jewelry; holistic therapies; and body mass index and blood pressure checks.
