NIAGARA FALLS – A man who admitted to drinking “too many beers to be handling a gun” was arrested early Sunday after firing a deer slug through a neighbor’s window, Niagara Falls police said.
Daniel R. Kline, 50, of South Avenue, was charged with reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal mischief following the 1:20 a.m. incident.
Police said Kline pulled the trigger on a shotgun in an upstairs bedroom of his home, not realizing the gun was loaded. The slug traveled through a wall, through a neighbor’s window and lodged into a bedroom wall, police said.
