An unidentified man was struck and killed Thursday night on Broadway at the intersection of Woltz Avenue.
Authorities appealed to the public for assistance in helping determine the man’s identity.
He was described as white, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, and wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and sneakers, and about 45 to 55 years old, according to Buffalo Police Accident Investigator Martin Forero and police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge.
The incident was reported at about 7:20 p.m. on the west side of Broadway, and the motorist who hit the man with his car stopped and cooperated with police. No charges have been file.
