A West Seneca man was sentenced to three years in prison Friday by Chief U.S District Judge William M. Skretny.
Justin Doyle, 24, had previously been convicted of conspiring to distribute OxyContin pills as part of a prescription drug ring in the City of Buffalo and its eastern suburbs.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael L. McCabe said Doyle distributed more than 5,000 OxyContin pills while working with co-defendant Mark Riordan, who was sentenced to three years in prison in December.
Doyle was arrested in 2010 along with 32 others. So far, 29 have been convicted.
Doyle’s sentence was the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, as well as New York State, Buffalo, Cheektowaga, West Seneca and Lancaster police.
