A Buffalo man who had more than 35 pounds of marijuana in his apartment when narcotics agents searched the place was sentenced Thursday to two years in prison by Chief Judge William M. Skretny in U.S. District Court.
Santiago Gale, 38, had been convicted of maintaining a premises for the purpose of distributing marijuana.
Prosecutors said officers executing a search warrant on Jan. 23 also found packaging material, a digital scale, a small quantity of pills and drug ledgers, along with $15,418 in drug proceeds, which were seized and forfeited.
