A memorial service for Clarence H. Hutt, a retired sales manager, will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 27 in St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 2368 Eggert Road, Town of Tonawanda.
He died Oct. 3 under hospice care in Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Town of Tonawanda.
The Town of Tonawanda resident was 90.
A Buffalo native, Mr. Hutt graduated from Riverside High School and from Cornell University with a degree in dairy industry.
He served in the Marine Corps during World War II, stationed in Guam and China, awaiting a possible invasion of Japan.
He was a sales manager for Hutts Dairy until it was sold to Jones-Rich Milk Co. in the mid-1950s.
He then worked as a sales representative for the Vernon Co. of Newton, Iowa.
Mr. Hutt was a well-known local golfer, his family said. He won numerous awards and club championships, including the Buffalo District Golf Association Championship in 1950.
He also had five holes in one and one double eagle.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, the former Marcia Matthews; and two daughters, Holly Kelly and Julie VanLente.
