LOCKPORT – A man who used a forged prescription to obtain painkillers and a man who sold cocaine each were placed on five years’ probation Wednesday by State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr.
Joshua R. Miller, 31, of Chestnut Ridge Road, Royalton, had pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument for obtaining pills Oct. 18, 2011, at the Walmart pharmacy in Lockport. He will be entering drug treatment at a Veterans Administration facility.
Rodriguez A. Bembo, 40, of North French Road, Amherst, had pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for selling cocaine in the City of Lockport May 18 and 19, 2011. He was living in Niagara Falls at the time.
