NIAGARA FALLS – A Williamsville man described as highly intoxicated and possibly under the influence of a drug was stopped at the Rainbow Bridge at 3:45 a.m. Thursday and charged after he assaulted a customs border patrol agent and an emergency room doctor, authorities said.
Michael T. Youngman, 28, of Tennyson Terrace was charged by Niagara Falls police with two counts of second-degree assault.
Police said Youngman, who was placed in handcuffs in a holding cell, struck an agent in the right shoulder with his elbow. Authorities also said Youngman apparently faked a seizure so he could be transported to the emergency room, where he bit an emergency room doctor.
