LOCKPORT – A Blackley Court man was accused of using a rifle to threaten a man following a fight Thursday evening on John Street.
Wesley D. Sherman, 25, of Blackley Court was charged by Lockport Police at 6:15 p.m. Thursday with second-degree menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
The victim told police that Sherman demanded his share of money for work on a construction job they did together. He then left after a heated argument, returned with a rifle and demanded money. Sherman apparently drove off when the victim threatened to call police and later turned himself it to police.
