A 22-year-old Chautauqua County woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after her car went off the road in the village of Sinclairville and slammed into a tree Sunday evening, Chautauqua County sheriff’s officials reported.
After striking the tree, the car went onto a lawn on Maple Street before coming to rest against a vehicle parked in a driveway shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Sheriff’s deputies charged Mary L. Miller, of Ashville, with DWI, aggravated DWI and moving unsafely from a lane, according to police reports.
