Mr. and Mrs. Gerald “Jerry" Birzon of Williamsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family brunch hosted by their children at Brookfield Country Club, Clarence. Mr. Birzon and Gloria Podolsky were married Sept. 7, 1952, in Temple Emanuel. He is retired owner of Birzon Wholesale Jewelers, which he started in 1952, and co-founder of Fantasy Island Amusement Park in 1961. She is retired owner of Ruth Diamond Market Research. They had five children and 10 grandchildren.
