The Fredonia State College Technology Incubator has “graduated” its first tenant. TexTivia, a digital and social media marketing agency founded at the incubator, has grown its business and out of its incubator space. The company will move into nearby office space in the Dunkirk Professional Building on Central Avenue.
TexTivia also has expanded and operates two additional offices on the East Coast.
The incubator opened December 2009 to provide client entrepreneurs access to business resources, technology expertise, along with faculty, business professional and mentors. Companies are usually in the incubator for two to three years, and then relocated when business has grown enough for them to operate independently.
TexTivia was one of the building’s original tenants. The company has since widened its client base and experienced a ten-fold increase in revenue last year.
