An East Aurora man faces felony drug charges after a traffic stop Saturday in Holland.
State police stopped Jasper R. Jaworski, 22, about 7 p.m. on Route 16 for speeding before a trooper reported detecting a strong odor of marijuana in the car. State police said they found 4 grams of ecstasy and marijuana paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Jaworski was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and marijuana possession. He was arraigned and taken to the Erie County Holding Center, where he was ordered held on $1,000 bail. He will return to Holland Town Court at a later date.
The drugs were found with the help of K-9 “Dobber,” a German shepherd named in memory of Trooper Kevin P. Dobson, who died last year after being struck by a vehicle while on duty.
