It's loud, it's historic, and it's free!
Founded in 1798 during the John Adams administration, the President's Own Marine Band is America's oldest continuously active professional musical organization. It has been known as "The President's Own" since the days of Thomas Jefferson. John Philip Sousa, its 17th director, instituted the band's concert tour tradition in 1891.
