KIANTONE – An 85-year-old Jamestown woman apparently ran a red light this morning at Route 60 and Peck Settlement Road causing a two-vehicle crash, according to a Chautauqua County sheriff’s report.
Police said a vehicle driven by Gladys E. Peterson was traveling east on Peck Settlement Road and collided about 11 a.m. with a northbound vehicle on Route 60 driven by Bryan M. Smith, 27, of Warren, Pa.
A passenger in the Peterson vehicle, Bill Michalski, 85, was taken to WCA Hospital in Jamestown with minor injuries along with a passenger in Smith’s vehicle, Heather Cathcart, 29.
Neither driver was injured.
Charges were pending a sheriff’s investigation.
