YOUNGSTOWN – More than $5,000 worth of jewelry and a $700 iPad were reported stolen Tuesday from a home in the 1200 block of Balmer Road.
The victim told Niagara County sheriff’s deputies that she realized the theft when she found a piece of jewelry was missing and believes the theft happened sometime since Sunday, when the house was unlocked. Patrol reported no sign of forced entry.
In addition to the iPad, a bangle bracelet, diamond anniversary ring, diamond gold charm and gold bracelets, gold ring, solitaire ring and a wedding band were stolen. Total loss was estimated at $5,825.
