A Buffalo woman admitted Wednesday to interfering with a criminal investigation into her son.
Evelyn Roberson, 61, pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice as part of a case in which she was accused of hiding a check, money order and cash, as well as debit, credit and bank cards, when police searched her home.
Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kathleen A. Lynch and Maura K. O’Donnell said the search was part of an ongoing investigation of her son and that Roberson tried to hide the items in her clothing.
Her guilty plea is the result of an investigation by the FBI and Secret Service.
