LOCKPORT – A Medina man is facing further charges after fleeing from police today.
Lockport police conducting a traffic stop said they searched the vehicle after they noticed a strong odor of marijuana and in a search found marijuana wrapped in brown paper.
Carl J. Person, 31, of West Oak Orchard Place, a passenger in the vehicle, fled from officers, police said. A warrant was issued and he turned himself in this afternoon. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
The driver, Marcus A. Walton, 32, of Lincoln Place, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license, police said.
