The third annual Lou Reuter Memorial Scholarship Run will be held Oct. 13 at Kenmore East High School, 350 Fries Road, Town of Tonawanda. There will be a 1-mile walk and 5K run. TRIATHLON: Great Lakes Racing, LLC will host the first annual Great Lakes 100 Mile Triathlon, the first 100 mile triathlon in WNY on Saturday. The course includes a one mile swim in Lake Ontario, an 84-mile bike course on the Niagara Escarpment and a 15-mile run along the Lake Ontario shore. Race time is 7:30 a.m. on the beach at Camp Kenan, 8571 Lower Lake Road, Barker.
