A water-main break discovered behind Lewiston-Porter High School this morning has forced school officials to send all high school students home at 9:30 a.m.
School officials emphasized that only the high school is affected by the early dismissal.
The water main break forced authorities to turn off the water in the high school, prompting officials to have the school buses return to take the students home.
"We should be OK by tomorrow," assistant superintendent Don Rappold said.
