A man was followed home overnight Monday from a downtown fast food restaurant by two masked men who robbed him of $100 in marijuana and other items at gunpoint and then left him tied up with cable in his Main Street apartment,
The victim said both gunmen wore ski masks and leather gloves. They followed him from Chippewa Street to his apartment in the 700 block of Main Street. The victim said when he got to the back parking lot of the building, one man shoved a gun into his side and ordered him into the building.
Police said the two forced the victim inside his apartment where they took the marijuana, along with a lap top computer, a tablet device, and keys. They also made him open up a safe from where they took $250 in cash and a jar of coins. The masked men then tied up the victim with cable before fleeing.
