NIAGARA FALLS - Three students living in the 2700 block of McKoon Avenue told police Monday that someone had broken into their residence and stole their backpacks and various electronics while they were sleeping sometime between midnight and 9 a.m.
Police said a metal chair that did not belong to the residents was found under a kitchen window. The chair had a boot print on it and the window was found open before police arrived. Blood was also found on a curtain, police said.
Reported stolen were three laptops, and an Xbox game system. A blue and white backpack was also taken and an empty back pack with no identification was found in its place.
