NIAGARA FALLS - A Niagara Falls man who reported being employed as a security guard was charged with violating an order of protection and breaking into a house in 2400 block of Niagara Avenue on Monday, as well as breaking into a neighbor's home.
Joseph L. Sewalla, 28, of Packard Court, was charged at 1:40 a.m. with felony second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal contempt, attempted criminal mischief, obstructing government administration and resisting arrest.
The victim said Sewalla, her ex-boyfriend, entered by climbing in through a basement window. Police said Sewalla was highly intoxicated and fought with officers.
As they were arresting Sewalla, a woman who lived next door said Sewalla had also entered her unlocked house, appearing disturbed and intoxicated, and kissed her on the neck. She said she escorted him out and called police.
He additionally was charged with a second count of second-degree burglary and two counts of forcible touching, police reported.
