A Batavia man was charged with knowingly transporting a minor across state lines with the intent to engage in sexual activity and traveling in interstate commerce for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct, U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr. announced today.
Timothy M. Logsdon, 29, was arrested Saturday by Kentucky state troopers in Bowling Green, Ky.
If convicted, Logsdon would face up to 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Hochul said the location of the 16-year-old girl, who was with Logsdon when he was arrested, was traced through the girl's cellphone.
