Mr. and Mrs. Salvatore Bova of Cheektowaga celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise dinner reception for family and friends at Joseph's Country Manor, Depew. Mr. Bova and Grace Shelton were married April 28, 1962, in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Buffalo. He is retired from Bethlehem Steel, Lackawanna; she is semiretired, currently working as director for Friends with Special Needs Inc., Cheektowaga. They have two children and two grandchildren.
