A man was slashed in the face early today after he confronted a driver who had apparently cut him off near Bailey and Shirley avenues, police said.
The victim said the incident took place at about 5 a.m. He said the driver of a late-model four-door turquoise Dodge Intrepid cut him off.
The victim said he got out of his car and the other driver approached him, cutting him on the nose and upper lip with what appeared to be a box cutter.
The victim drove himself to Erie County Medical Center where he needed six stitches to treat the wounds.
