The Buffalo Urban League will hosts its 85th annual meeting at 6 p.m. today in the auditorium of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library at One Lafayette Square.
The meeting agenda includes a report of the state of the Urban League; the status of its programs and services that are provided to 15,000 individuals in the community; future plans for the organization; and a special presentation from the National Urban League recognizing the Buffalo chapter for 85 years of service.
In addition, the board of directors will elect officers and new board members.
The community is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served following the meeting.
