A Kenmore man was charged Tuesday after he was pulled over for speeding on the Youngman Expressway and found with hypodermic needles and sterile testosterone, State Police said.
Michael A. Vazquez, 23, of Kenmore was stopped on the eastbound side of Interstate 290 in the Town of Tonawanda on Tuesday at about 12:40 p.m. after he was clocked going 81 mph in a 55 mph zone, troopers said.
A license check showed Vazquez's license was suspended. Troopers search his vehicle and found "numerous hypodermic needles and three glass vials containing sterile testosterone," according to a statement from State Police.
He was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and speeding. He was issued tickets returnable to Tonawanda town court Oct. 22.
