A Kenmore man faces a variety of traffic and drug charges after being stopped at about 12:40 p.m. Tuesday for driving about 80 mph in a 55 mph zone on the Youngmann Highway, state police said.
Michael A. Vazquez, 23, was driving on a suspended license and a search of his vehicle disclosed numerous hypodermic needles and three glass vials containing sterile testosterone, according to a police report.
He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree, criminal possessing of a hypodermic instrument, unauthorized operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. He was ordered to return to Tonawanda Town Court on Oct. 22.
