Amherst Garden Club will ?meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in ?St. John Lutheran Church, 6540 Main St., Amherst. The 10 a.m. business meeting will be followed by a program at 11:15 a.m. featuring the club's first annual photo contest. Members will present pictures of their summer gardens to be judged by other members. Horticulture presentation: "Garden Basics and Container Upkeep," by Linda Zeder.
