Submissions are sought for the 2012 Niagara River Region Scarecrow Display. Businesses, organizations and residents are invited to create a scarecrow to display along the main streets in the Niagara River region from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31. Eligible applicants include businesses, community and civic organizations, not for profit agencies, schools, colleges and universities and residents of participating communities (Lewiston, Sanborn, Ransomville and Youngstown).
