More than 1,300 runners from throughout New York, Ontario, Ohio and northern Pennsylvania are expected to participate in the Mighty Niagara Half Marathon and Hospice Dash 5k Walk/Run, both of them beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday and both ending at Porter-on-the-Lake town park.

Proceeds will benefit Niagara Hospice.

The Mighty Niagara Half Marathon will begin at Artpark in Lewiston and the Hospice Dash 5k Walk/Run will begin at 595 Lake Road in Youngstown.
