WARSAW - A village man was released to a family member after he was charged with aggravated drunken driving on Jefferson Street about 11:45 p.m. Sunday, the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office reported today.

Following a citizen complaint about an erratic driver, Brian M. Boitschenko, 31, of Wildere Road, was stopped by Deputy Colin Reagan and Warsaw Police Patrolman Ryan Buttles and taken into custody after he failed field sobriety tests. Based on a breath chemical test, he was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated for having a blood-alcohol content over 0.18 percent, deputies said.

Boitschenko also was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving an uninspected motor vehicle, having illegal stickers on the rear windshield and having no license plates. He was ordered to appear in Village Court Oct. 15, and his car was towed from the scene of his arrest.
