JAMESTOWN - A Jamestown man is being held on $400,000 bail on his indictment arrest for allegedly sexually molesting a young Jamestown child at least 11 times over the last year.

City police said Vaughn S. Zock, 50, surrendered Friday after being advised that a Chautauqua County grand jury had lodged a 16-count indictment against him.

Zock was arraigned Monday in Chautauqua County Court and entered not guilty pleas to 11 counts of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child and single counts of sexual conduct against a child in the first-degree, first-degree criminal sexual action and child endangerment.

In an investigation that began over a week ago after the latest of the alleged molesting incidents, the Jamestown Police Department's juvenile victims unit was assisted by the Chautauqua County District Attorney's Office, the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services and the Child Advocacy Program.
