Keith McShea's rankings of the best of the fall:

1. Orchard Park football: In last two weeks, Quakers have routed teams which hadn't lost yet. That's bad news for host Frontier (2-1).

2. East Aurora cross country: Boys and girls ran away with titles at Sunshine Park in West Seneca.

3. St. Mary's girls volleyball: Earned top billing in WNY at own tourney, look to keep it Saturday at loaded Frontier Tournament.

4. Bishop Timon-St. Jude football: Hurting Tigers expect to get a boost this week with return of standout RB Adam DiMillo.

5. Sweet Home football: 53 in a row vs. WNY. Last year's win over McKinley was a close one; they meet at Riverside Friday night.

6. Alden football: We have to wait a week for No. 1 small school to host No. 2 (Depew).

7. Orchard Park's No. 1 girls: Soccer and volleyball both own top spots in large school polls.

8. Canisius boys volleyball: No. 1 Crusaders host St. Joe's tonight.

9. Clarence boys soccer: Rolling along, shut out surging West Seneca West Friday.

10. East Aurora boys soccer: Unanimous No. 1 small school owns 3-0 win over St. Joe's and allowed just one goal through first five games.

Honor roll: Iroquois field hockey, Nichols boys golf, Clarence cross country, Maple Grove cross country, Eden girls volleyball, Lockport boys soccer, Williamsville East boys soccer, East Aurora girls soccer, Depew football, West Seneca East football, Orchard Park boys volleyball.
