A West Seneca man was in critical condition today in Erie County Medical Center after he was dragged about 580 feet by his own car following an altercation with another man Sunday afternoon, West Seneca police said.
Investigators today were trying to sort out exactly how Steven Lipinski, 22, ended up outside his car.
Police found Lipinski in the intersection of East, West and Orchard Park roads with serious injuries shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday.
Police learned that Lipinski had been in an altercation in his car with Jonathan Suarez, 19, of West Seneca. Lipinski somehow ended up on the outside of the car.
Police said Suarez was seen trying to flee the scene as Lipinski clung to the driver's door.
Lipinski was dragged by the vehicle before he fell off, suffering serious injuries.
