LOCKPORT - A Niagara Falls man was ordered held without bail Monday, accused of violating his drug treatment program following his arrest in a string of 7-Eleven robberies last week.

Paul J. Schubert, 21, of Garden Avenue, Schubert was charged last week with first-degree robbery, second-degree robbery, second-degree attempted robbery, second-degree menacing and fourth-degree grand larceny. He was arraigned in City Court and is being held on $65,000 bail in that case.

On June 22, Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas sentenced to the judicial diversion program, after he pleaded guilty to a burglary charge connected to the break-in of a Seneca Avenue house and garage two years ago.

Deputy District Attorney Doreen Hoffman told Farkas that Schubert is no longer a candidate. Farkas ordered that he be held without bail until he returns for a diversion hearing on Oct. 2.
